ABOUT BUNNYCUTLET GALLERY

BUNNYCUTLET GALLERY closed its 158 Roebling Street location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (NYC) in March of 2014.

Founded in 2012 by Liz Artinian and supported by countless artists, friends, and collectors, Bunnycutlet's mission was to promote artists heavily influenced by animation, comics, and illustration. In its two years of operation, Bunnycutlet hosted 20 exhibitions, featured nearly 200 artists, and was awarded Best New Art Gallery of 2013 by the Village Voice.

Bunnycutlet also hosted a weekly figure drawing troupe called BROOKLYN NUDE.

Liz Artinian's career as a curator began in 2005 with her 2-year residency at the Stay Gold Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Liz continued to curate pop-up exhibits throughout New York City leading up to the opening of Bunnycutlet, including the annual Too Art for TV, an exhibit highlighting the fine art side of animation industry artists. Liz continues to work in animation and curate exhibitions independently.
