AMANDA BAEHR FULLER In her paintings, Amanda uses animals to convey the more angst-filled moments of everyday human life. She's inspired by Al Hirschfeld, Charles Schulz, and sculptor Tom Otterness, as well as by her hugely talented friends she's made while working in animation. |

ANDREW BELL Andrew Bell spent five years at Nickelodeon as a senior designer before deciding to give up the grind to pursue his own artistic endeavors. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY where he heads up his own artwork production company, Dead Zebra Inc. His popular "the Creatures in my Head" project features adorable but macabre monsters with subtle yet powerful messages and has spawned a wide variety of paintings, prints, sculptures, designer toys and literally thousands of illustrations. Andrew has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in cities such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Paris. He continues to love animation and hopes to get back to it someday, but for now there are toys to be made! |

ROBERT BOHN Robert Bohn is a recent graduate of The School of Visual Arts and lives in Jersey City. He has worked with animators Don Duga, Irra Verbitsky, and Pat Smith, as well as created his own award winning shorts. He is a member of the group theAMIGOunit, a collection of experimentalist, artists, and animators whose work is limitless. His art has been shown in many spaces, most commonly found hidden on the streets of NYC. Not only is Bohn an observer, he is also an explorer set out to dissect the world around him, analyze the findings, and reconstruct the pieces to create new forms. He has an eye with an alternative vision, offering a break in the cycle of monotony. |

CONNIE LI CHAN Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Connie Li Chan came to New York City to find peace, love, and understanding. Now finishing up her final year at NYU, Connie works as a freelance animator, fabricator, and storyboard artist. She has fabricated for New York-based studio Hornet Inc., and animated for John Canemaker's documentary Chuck Jones: Memories of Childhood.
Connie continues to make art injected with her bizarre sense of humor. Sometimes she's so overwhelmed by the awesomeness and hilarity of life around her, she can't help but pee her pants a little. In her spare time, she loves to go to the beach and watch Youtube videos of slow lorises. |

While in London, he worked on Monstermania!, an animated feature in production at Uli Meyer Studios and The Blue Man, for celebrated production designer Neil Ross. He has abandoned London for the Big Apple and the love of a good woman and is currently working on some blasphemous animation for The Big Gay Sketch Show. Elliot last exhibited in Hobart, Tasmania in 2004. |

When he's not animating away, he is painting & making toys! |

KELLY DENATO "Kelly Denato has been working professionally in illustration and animation for more than 9 years. She has illustrated for Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Children's Television Workshop, Cartoon Network online games, and Little Brown Publishing and created Animation, Character & Background Designs, and Motion graphics for Present Creative, SF and advertising agencies such as MRM, Euro RSCG Life, and RGA in NY. She also has participated in several vinyl and plush customization projects. These customs were exhibited at My Plastic Heart NY, Rotofugi Chicago, and Maxwells NJ. Currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY, Kelly is focusing on painting, character art, and plush toy design. |

ERIC DYER Dyer's award-winning indie films have screened internationally at numerous festivals, including the Black Maria Film Festival, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Annecy International Animation Festival, and the Sundance Film Festival. His work has also been exhibited at the Exploratorium, the Hirshhorn, the American Academy in Rome, Ars Electronica, and the Venice Biennale. Dyer's recent projects explore the use of zoetropes and 2-D/3-D digital printouts as filmmaking tools. He lives in Baltimore. |

MAYA EDELMAN Maya Edelman was born in the now defunct USSR and landed in Brooklyn, NY, sixteen years ago where she has been living and making art ever since. She attended Pratt Institute where she studied hand-drawn animation. In her time at Pratt, and thereafter she has had an opportunity to work in various ends of the animation and film-making, from storyboarding to animation instruction, most recently at Curious Pictures creating hand-drawn animation for a project directed by Michel Gondry. Prior to this she worked at Bunko studios as an animator on the PBS Kids show “Sid the Science Kid”. While she enjoys the 4D medium, she has never forsaken her love of painting and illustration. Her work explores themes of humiliation and physical deformities and inadequacies, which are expressed through images of awkward adolescent girls with armpit hair and overbites. Her current medium of choice is acrylic paint on wood, or pencil on paper. She had previously exhibited her work at various group shows, as well as a solo show at Tillie’s of Brooklyn. |

JONATHAN EHRENBERG Jonathan Ehrenberg received a BA in Art-Semiotics from Brown University and an MFA in Painting from Yale University. He has worked as a creative director and animation designer at MTV, Funny Garbage and Mishmashmedia, and has exhibited his work at galleries including Earl McGrath and P.S.1. He currently lives and works in New York City. |

CHRISTOPHER FISHER Christopher Fisher was born in Germany and lived in various places in the United States before settling in New York in 1997. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2006 with a degree in Illustration. In 2007 he won Geri Bauer award at the Society of Illustrators student show. Since 2007 he has worked as a background painter on Season 3 and 4 of the animated series The Venture Bros. Chris has been involved with a number of freelance projects in the animation field and also pursued his career in fine arts by showing paintings in Hudson Valley galleries. The main focus of his personal work as a fine artist is historical painting and landscape. He enjoys the challenge and research involved in attempting to accurately recreate a scene or event that is lost to time. He currently lives in Highland Falls, NY. |

KENNETH B GORE Ken Gore began a traditional fine arts education, but found a kinship with musicians at UC Santa Barbara while getting his MFA. He began to experiment with stop frame animation of plastic cows, colored pencil drawings and 8mm footage of working butchers in a meat market in Texas. While living and working as a mural artist in NYC, Ken continued his journey into animation. He has worked as a digital painter for medical animations, 3D product design animations, and created Flash animations for the swimming pool industry. Beside the freelance work, Ken Gore is working away on his first independent animation and taking storyboard classes at SVA. | |

STEPHEN IRWIN Stephen Irwin is a graduate of Central St. Martins College of Art & Design, with an MA in Communication Design, specialising in animation. He received the Best Emerging Talent award in 2005 from EMERGEANDSEE for his graduation film, ‘Dialog’. Since then he has received commissions from the UK Film Council & Film London, BBC New Talent and Animate Projects (Channel 4 / Arts Council England). In 2008 he was shortlisted for a British Animation Award for his music video for Lightspeed Champion (produced by Warp Films). His last film, ‘The Black Dog’s Progress’, received an Axis Public Realm nomination and was screened on Channel 4 as part of Animate TV. |

MARTA MARIA JONSDOTTIR Jonsdottir uses acrylics and markers and her works jump between being figurative and abstract. They are drawn almost without thinking. Sometimes they are layered with more than one drawing on top of each other and sometimes there is only one line to see. Her works refer to many kinds of things; abstract painting, futurism, surrealism, poetry, childrens books and animation. Jonsdottir recently exhibited at Gallery Águst in Iceland. |

KANO kaNO started off his career painting animation cells at Jumbo pictures while attending the School of Visual Arts, upon graduating in 1999 he landed a job at MTV animation as a character lay-out artist. Despite the ups and downs of the industry kaNO has been hard at work for the last decade as an animator, storyboard artist, character designer, and as of late voice over talent. kaNO has provided services for some of the biggest names in the biz, such as Disney, MTV, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Miramax, 4kids, Rankin/Bass, and Scholastic to name a few. kaNO also freelances as a company unde kaNO kid, LLC who’s clients include Disney, Mindstyle, Upper Deck, Nike and Jordan brand. |

THOMAS KNOWLER Thomas Knowler comes from south London. He studied at Camberwell College of Arts for his art foundation, followed by undergrad at the University of Westminster. He took 2 years out of studying to work as a freelance Animator and Illustrator in London, working for agencies such as Contra and the YCN. Thomas works almost exclusively traditionally. He studied illustration - developing his visual style is his priority - but considers himself an animator. He is now studying MFA Illustration as Visual Essay, under the tutelage of Marshall Arisman.at the SVA. |

EILEEN KOHLHEPP Eileen Kohlhepp is a stop-motion animator and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Over the past 12 years, she has worked on programs for MTV (Celebrity Deathmatch, Daria), Disney Channel (Playhouse Disney's Clay), ABC, FOX (Family Guy) and Cartoon Network (Robot Chicken, Moral Orel, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack), as well as numerous commercials (Sony Bravia "Play-Doh", United "Heart"). An avid photographer and traveler since college, Ms. Kohlhepp takes advantage of any time she is not in dark rooms pushing around puppets, to see the world and capture it on film. Although she hasn't exhibited her photography since RISD, she is preparing to exhibit some prints with Switcheroo Gallery in Los Angeles in the fall of 2009. |

PETER J. LAZARSKI Peter J. Lazarski is an artist living in Rochester, NY. He was raised in Syracuse, New York where he spent most of his youth drawing and searching for bugs under rocks. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology to study Graphic Design and Illustration. Since school he has worked on a variety of projects, including background illustration for both seasons of Pale Force for Conan O'Brien/NBC, background illustration for Flickerlab, apparel design for The Angry Penguin, screen printing and teaching. His work focuses on monsters, bugs, adventure and mayhem. |

ERIC LEISER Eric Leiser is a filmmaker, animator, puppeteer, writer, holographer and artist working in a variety of media. Born in California, Eric Leiser earned his BFA in experimental animation at the CALARTS while also working at Nickelodeon on Spongebob and developing his stop-motion series Twilight Park. He is currently working for IFC in New York City as lead animator on a upcoming TV show. His latest feature film "Imagination" mentored in Prague under Jan Svankmajer was in the May 2008 issue of Animation Magazine and the blog Cartoon Brew several times last year. The film has recently been acquired by MoMA, the BFI and the V&A Museum. He is currently burned out and needs the healing only the animation community can provide. |

ADAM LEVINE Adam Levine holds an MFA in animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has freelanced on various independent projects and pitches as well as broadcast work for MTV’s show Human Giant and nationally syndicated radio personalities Opie and Anthony. Right now he is animating, directing and doing design work for All Things Media LLC in Ramsey, NJ. His paintings have been exhibited several times at Maxwell’s gallery in Hoboken, NJ. His goal is to entertain people through his art. His philosophy is simple; make stuff that makes you happy and the people around you will smile. He currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. |

DAVID LIPSON David Lipson is a producer of animation for film and television who’s past credits include The Venture Bros, School House Rock, TV Funhouse on Saturday Night Live, The Howard Stern Show on CBS, Lizzie McGuire, and Word World on PBS. David builds robot sculptures made out of random objects, and has created and brought to market a line of award winning designer plush dolls called “Big Eye Dummies” which are sold in specialty toy stores, high-end children’s boutiques, design gift shops, and museum stores nationally and internationally. Prior to working in animation, Lipson studied oil painting at the Art Students League, as well as National Academy Museum and School of Fine Arts in New York City. |

TODD KIDWELL LOWN Todd Kidwell Lown likes making art that you can stare at for a while and have plenty to look at. His imagination is a conglomeration of animations, signage, drawings and paintings both illustrative and abstract. Currently back in Seattle drawing and painting [murals] daily, Todd has previously worked at 4Kids Productions on TMNT Fast forward, as a background inker/colorist and then on Viva Piñata as the Production Coordinator. His art has been exhibited in museums and galleries from: The City of Seattle Portable Works collection, Too Art for TV 2&3, In the Zone at the Brattleborough Art Museum in Vermont, Gimme Baby Robots 1-3, Dauminkino (The Flip Book Show) in Düsseldorf, Germany and Antwerp, Belgium, to ‘Vagrant Royalty’ in Tokyo, Japan. |

RICHARD MATHER Richard Mather was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1965 but lived most of his young life in Austin, Texas, where he dropped out of high school and supported himself as and illustrator, poster artist, and digital animator. He moved to New York in 1993 where he worked for production houses and animation studios, and eventually for MTV Animation. MTV and MTV Labs commissioned Richard to make “Saw Boy Buck” for a short animation block, which never aired but opened the door for more animated shorts. One of his new cartoons, "Magical Realm" aired on MTV2 July 2008, and they created a special Magical Realm week for it to air 24 hours a day. Richard is also painting in oils and watercolors, making hand made books, voice acting, and playing music. |

CYNTHEA SATSUKI MAZUR When Cynthea is in a good mood she paints pretty princesses. And when she’s not, she exorcises memories and nightmares through autobiographical drawings. Cynthea’s career has included animated shorts for Sesame Street, commercials, interstitials, etc. Long ago she animated an award winning film titled “Little Moon Monster.” Currently, she works at Little Airplane Productions as an animator. |

MARGARET MEYER Margaret Meyer thought she'd be a veterinarian but somehow ended up an artist who sometimes works in stop-motion animation. Most recently she was lured to Portland, OR (where she still resides) by Laika Entertainment to design and fabricate costumes for the feature film, Coraline. Prior to that she worked in LA on the shows "Robot Chicken" and "Morel Orel" for the Cartoon Network, doing everything from designing to building characters. Her actual start in the business came from working with Art Clokey (of Gumby fame) on a revival of "Davey and Goliath". Margaret exhibits her "strange moments caught in empty landscapes" paintings here and there and her work is included in private collections throughout the US and as far away as Melbourne and Prague (where she worked for peanuts painting marionettes sold to tourists on the Charles Bridge!). She likes to invite viewers to make up their own stories about her images. |

JESSICA MILAZZO Jessica has worked as a director, supervisor and animator for a variety of animated shows, ad campaigns and even museum installations since graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in 2D Character Animation from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in 2004. Last year, she co-directed the music video “BoyCatBird”, with Super Fi for Adult Swim/Ghostly International. She also (almost) completed her own film, "The Adventures of the Fabulous Box Kitten". This year sees Jessica back in the advertising world. In general, Jessica is inspired by visual metaphor and humor in art, high and low. She's also quite into patterns. She enjoys working with watercolor and ink, thinking it adds a subtle elegance to her sometimes silly drawings. |

NATE MILTON Nate Milton is a 2008 graduate of the School of Visual Arts Animation Program. While he was in school he also worked at an Ad Agency called the Romann Group; where he started as a paid intern whose responsibilities were to Direct animated music videos for the company's budding record label; he left the company, after 3 years, as it's full time Art Director. Since then he has been steadily getting freelance Animation and Video Work; his clientele includes (but not limited to) Red Bull, Broadway Actor James Brown-Orleans and eyeBLINK. He is also one of the three heads behind theAMIGOunit.com animation collective. He wants to bring 'organic' back into this increasingly stiff and digital world. Nate lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Taylor. |

MICHAEL MUCCI Michael “Mooch” Mucci has been successfully working in the animation industry for almost twelve years. He has worked for MTV Animation on their hit shows “Daria” and “Spy Groove”. For six years he put his countless years of comic book knowledge to use designing toys for Marvel Comics. Michael currently works in Interactive Design for Nickelodeon, creating video games for “Avatar” & everybody’s favorite yellow square, “SpongeBob SquarePants”. “Mooch” has a fondness for bizarre humor, which usually creeps into everything he creates whether he wants it there or not (Damn mind Gremlins!). Mooch has called many places home, from Krypton (it exploded) to R’lyeh (it sunk). He currently resides in Astoria Queens with his Girlfriend, his Dachshund puppy and a 400 pound Nightmare named “Clancy”. |

DEODATO PANGANDOYON Deodato was born in the Philippines and at a young age moved with his family to the United States. Having grown up in New Jersey, Deodato attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and in 2006 received a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration. Following graduation, he has done various work designing produce packages, painting portraits, and has illustrated two children’s books. In 2007, he was approached by World Leaders Entertainment and became a background painter for the third season of Cartoon Network’s show The Venture Bros. Recently he has collaborated with Yul Kwon (Winner of the TV series Survivor: Cook Islands) to contribute work for the first issue Secret Identities: The Asian American Superhero Anthology. The comic anthology includes works by prominent Asian American artists such as Bernard Chang and Greg Pak. Deodato currently resides in Union, New Jersey and is working as a background designer for the fourth season of The Venture Bros. |

ALEX SMITH Alex Smith is a freelance character animator from London. He works for people like Cartoon Network, Chase Animation and 12foot6 etc. His latest work is for an Edinburgh Festival comedy show about an animated coffee-pot sex pest. He was lead animator on Damian Gascoigne's 'Careful' (winner of London Critics Award, BAA short film award runner up). He has also been responsible for 2 short films 'Robot Gimme Love 954' and 2006's 'Beast Abroad'. |

ZARTOSHT SOLTANI In 1998 Zartosht Soltani graduated from Fine Arts at Azad University of Arts at Tehran. He also worked as a graphic designer and illustrator during school. RYAN SOVEREIGN Ryan Sovereign was born in 1975 in Pontiac, MI and studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. Beginning in 1998 began working at MTV on Daria, Downtown and most recently at Curious Pictures Drawing and Coloring digital backgrounds for the Polly Pocket Movie. His artwork has encompassed Video, Animation, Painting, Collage and printmaking. In Addition keeping busy by designing necktie Prints for Sovereign Beck, playing music with Mazing Vids and making art and prints for a big time clothing manufacturer. Ryan currently lives, works and plays in Brooklyn NY. |
